How I met the doctor was one morning I read the newspaper and I saw the picture in the paper of Dr. Wilderman and the program that he had for women that have been through abuse and I had some teeth that were missing because of that and I had to fill out an application and that is what I did and within a few weeks, I got a return call. They said they have found someone and they introduced me to Dr. Wilderman and that was the Give Back a Smile Program and it took a little while but we could see the result. I was actually crying. I was so happy. I could not get my face out of the mirror and looking at myself with the brand new set of teeth, the hardest thing was to learn how to smile all over again.
